Ms. Jasmine is the cook at Brighton Academy.
She has always enjoyed cooking and bringing people together over a meal ever since she was a kid. She decided young that she wanted to learn more about food and the process of making delicious meals. In high school she participated in FCCLA's culinary team where she got to compete and serve Lidia Bastianich (Amazing Italian chef).
For college Ms. Jasmine moved to Denver Colorado to attend Johnson and Wales University to study culinary arts and hospitality. While in school she worked for Patterbar making natural clean energy bars. She came back to Kansas city and went into the hospitality industry she’s worked for the Great wolf Lodge, Intercontinental and opened up Aloft on the Plaza.
The past couple years she has decided to get back into the kitchen. Ms. Jasmine has decorated cakes for Sam's Bakery and Dairy Queen. She has been a kitchen manager for The Hungry Hatch in the river market and now her favorite one so far cooking for your kids!
